Scheduled for March 2 9pm-until to discuss the results of the Texas republican primary which is heated and very controversial. Joe Paggs will handle things up to 9pm and then I'll take over with phone calls after Joe. Looking forward to it on WOAI/San Antonio. http://www.woai.com/
WHAS/Louisville was great yesterday too. Much chatter about the Tiger-culpa but great station and audience. http://www.whas.com/ Got a lot of phone call and email response.
Alexander Haig has died. Best remembered for his statement 'in control" the day of the Reagan assassination attempt. A great movie on that day produced by HBO if you can find it "The Day Reagan was Shot." Based on personal accounts of those who were there. I always liked the General. He sure scared the commies.

Superintending Providence
Our founding fathers used often a phrase "Superintending Providence" when speaking of dramatic events in the early days of the country. To them, this phrase is unmistakable in what they meant. They were talking about God's intervention into the affairs of men. Specifically, the affairs of a bunch of idealists sparking the American revolution. What is sad is that many in academia are denying any religious influence or connection to the nation's early years. Originally, I had planned to pen a few instances where prayer changed America or provide a collection of where this "Providence" was on display. The more research I do, the more examples I find. As my list grows, perhaps here or somewhere else, my collection of these examples will be found. For now, let me say that there are simply too many occurances to conclude any thing but that America's creation was through the guiding hand from above. What is further sad today is that our nation is turning away from the foundational beliefs that led a few to create what we call today the United States of America.

Among our topics tonight, will be Islam and the threat of militant Islam around the world. Former Palestinian terrorist Walid Shoebat will be on with me during the 10:05-11pm ET hour. He is an authority on the middle east. He is an author of a number of books detailing the spirtual conflict that is at issue here as well. His web site is:

US troops have begun tonight the largest offensive in Afghanistan since the beginning of the War in 2001....Muslim groups in America oppose full body scanners saying it violates religious liberty. This may be a reason why WE SHOULD use them...President Obama is saying he is an "agnostic" toward tax hikes for the middle class. Interesting choice of words from this President isn't it? I also think I remember him saying that no "one penny " of tax hikes on those making less than $250,000 a year...
