Welcome to a new weekly program on WBT/Charlotte called "Saturday Night Special." I'll be hosting once or twice a month as we continue to focus on the up coming Presidential election and the tightness of the race in North Carolina which is considered a battleground state. The race here in Carolina is as close as it can get. Which is why some political analysts I've talked with believe North Carolina is a possible Obama grab. I don't think so but the latest poll shows it is very close.

At 10:05pm ET, I'll be talking with Jim Kouri. He is the fifth vice-president of the National Association of Chief's of Police. He has a distinguished law enforcement background including his role on a panel for Homeland Security. He is a frequent author and commentator on issues involving our national security.
